The Green Hand™ Project
The Green Hand™ Project | About The Project | How You Can Help
Good business isn’t just about growth, it’s about creating value. We believe in growing in a way that benefits our customers, our shareholders, and society - building for the long term.
We view sustainability in three dimensions – social, environmental and economic – and strive to find the right balance to help create long-term value for our customers, for society and for our company. Our cellulose is an essential part of many products for everyday use that allows for improved quality of life and hygiene. As part of our efforts to help the communities in which we do business, GP Cellulose is working to help UNICEF provide safe and healthy schools for thousands of children in China through the Green Hand™ Project.
GP Cellulose will make a donation of $1 to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF for every metric tonne of Golden Isles® fluff pulp purchased. All funds generated through the Green Hand Project will go to support water and sanitation programs in Chinese schools, helping UNICEF make schools healthy and safe for children. By purchasing Golden Isles® fluff pulp, you are helping GP Cellulose provide funding to UNICEF’S efforts to improve the health and safety of children in China.
